Alvey Junior Smiley

Alvey Junior Smiley, 76, formerly of Breckenridge Co., Ky., died Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Owensboro. He was born in Breckenridge Co.and had been involved in farming for many years. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Smiley on December 12, 1955.
Surviving are 5 daughters, Donna Goad of Indianapolis, In., Anna Sloan of Gallatin, Tn., Vickey Criss of Highland Heights, Ky., and Sheila Puckett and Patty Wilkerson, both of Owensboro, 4 sons, Charles and Bruce Smiley, both of Owensboro, George Thomas Smiley of Maceo, and James Edward Smiley of Louisville, 2 sisters, Ola Frances Smiley of Leitchfield, Ky. and Betty Adkins of Robinson, Il., 2 brothers. Herb and V. P. Smiley, both of Tuscola, Il., 18 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 11, 2003, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the McQuady Cemetery in Breckenridge Co. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M.
