Aloysius Clements, 72, of Owensboro, passed away on September 22, 2014 at the Heartford House. He was born on August 15, 1942 to the late Joseph Lawrence and Essie Tyler Lane Clements. Aloysius was of the Catholic faith. He owned and operated Al Clements Construction. Aloysius enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR, and spending time with his dog Obi. He also volunteered with the Whitesville Fire Department for many years.
Aloysius was preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel Thomas Clements and William Lawrence Clements.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Clements; children, Mark Allen Clements of Philpot, Cindy Lamb of Owensboro and Jeffery Scott Clements of Philpot; grandchildren, Jeremy Lamb, Samantha Lamb, Jessi Lamb, all of Owensboro and Kyle Clements of Philpot; great-granddaughter, Piper; and a sister, Kathleen Clark.
The funeral mass will be at 10 AM on Friday at Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday with prayers at 6:30 and after 9 AM on Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
