Alma Louise Roberts

Alma Louise Roberts, 83 of Owensboro, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Owensboro Medical Health System. A native of Daviess County, she was a homemaker and worked for General Electric for 15 years, and was a member of Dawson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Bubba Roberts June 15, 2003.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Carl F. Roberts of Owensboro, a son, Michael Roberts of Philpot and wife, Sherion, and a daughter, Amy E. Merritt of Owensboro and husband Darrell, a grandson, Dustin Roberts of Philpot, a brother, Walter McPherson of Philpot; two sisters, Grace Stephens of Whitesville, and Edna Taylor of Beaver Dam and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Roberts will be held, 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Cates Cemetery in Whitesville.
