Alma Cummings Reed, 90, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at her home. Born August 25, 1914 in Dawson Springs, Mrs. Reed was the owner/operator of the former Schroaders Market on 9th Street. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Shelby Schroader.
She is survived by a son, Calvin Schroader of Owensboro.
Services will be Monday at 12 Noon in the Peace Chapel at Rosehill Cemetery with burial in Rosehill. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon on Monday.
