Allie Colleen Lipscomb

Allie Colleen Lipscomb, 82, of Owensboro, Ky., formerly of Springfield and Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Wellington Parc. She was born November 23, 1943 in Springfield to the late Floyd “Jack” and Allie Lillian Woodard Lipscomb. Colleen had worked at Pathfinders in Gallatin as an office manager, and Cutter’s Exchange in Nashville, both for a number of years. She enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales, and antiquing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and her friends. Colleen was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Mildred Lipscomb.

Surviving are her children, Collette Carter and husband Greg of Owensboro and Will Mason and wife Laura of Taylorsville; three grandchildren, Mason Carter (Fey) of Owensboro, Jack Carter of Louisville, and Makayla Mason of Taylorsville; and a great granddaughter, Sophia Carter of Owensboro.

A Celebration of Life for Colleen will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM, Saturday September 5th, in the Heritage Room at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.  Family and friends are invited to come and share memories about Colleen's life.  Food and refreshments will be provided for everyone.
