Allen Ray Hulsey

Allen Ray Hulsey, 72, of Owensboro passed away suddenly October 27, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born August 11, 1943 to the late D.W. "Bill" and Helen Lee Hulsey. Allen was a veteran of the Air Force. He was able to make something out of nothing and was very "crafty. He loved painting, nature, and photography. He was also known for telling corny jokes.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Ray Hulsey in 2004. He is survived by his wife Nancy Hulsey of Owensboro; daughters, Samantha Hulsey of Owensboro, Eva Coons (Chris) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Jeff Hulsey of Texas; Step-sons, Jody Howard of Lewisport, Virgil Howard of Denver, and Matt Howard of Owensboro; brothers, Randy Hulsey (Joyce) of Owensboro and Warren Hulsey of Bowling Green.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 31 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment at a later date in Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
