Allan G. Parker, 98, of Owensboro, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Owensboro Center Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born November 11, 1915 in Big Rock, TN to the late Bill Benton and Ida Mae Weatherford Parker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Elizabeth Pike Parker in 2008. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Don Parker and wife Judy, Mae Powers and husband Joseph "Bill" Calhoun, and Betty Leeper and husband David, all of Owensboro, 10 grandchildren, Pam (Aaron) Anderson, Sandy (Mark) Bowers, Scott Parker, Jason (Jennie) Parker, Randy (Rosanna) Powers, Becky (Rick) Sengenberger, Angie (Steve) Howard, David Allan (Renee) Leeper, Kim (John) Mann, and Chris (Erika) Leeper, 20 great grandchildren, one sister, Mary Philippe of Altamonte Springs, FL, a brother, Dan (Jane) Parker of Henderson, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, May 15, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
