Mrs. Alice Garland Strobel, 62, of 6621 Valley Dr., Brentwood, TN, died Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born July 3, 1941, to Stewart and Mary Lee Heavrin Rice, in Daviess County, KY. She was owner/operator of House of Hickory in Nashville, TN, and she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, and traveling.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frank Strobel, one son, John Bradley Strobel of Brentwood, TN, one daughter, Laura Lee Strobel of Nashville, TN, two grandchildren, Seth Stephen Strobel and Samantha Aurelia Strobel.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at Christ Chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, and after 9:00 AM at Glenn Funeral Home.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are Joe, Mike, Jeff, Greg, Aaron, and Johnny Williams, Jim and Tony Strobel.
