Alice Mae Sacra

Alice Mae Sacra, 82, of Owensboro, passed away July 30, 2024. She was born March 25, 1942, in Owensboro to the late Jessie Buck and Lena Katherine Allen. Alice attended Wesleyan Christian Center. She worked at General Electric and Pinkerton Tobacco before shifting her focus to working at Daviess County Schools, where she retired. Alice loved to travel, shop and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rayburn Sacra. 

Alice is survived by son, Barry Keith (Lisa) Sacra; daughter, Alisa “Sissi” (Kenneth) Rice; grandchildren, Charlie Sacra and Craig (Trisha) Sacra; granddaughter, Naomi Sacra; sister, Lois Wade and brother, James (Anna) Allen. 

The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
