Alice Kaye Bickett, 61, of Knottsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 29, 1964, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Ralph Mudd and the late Catherine Mudd. Alice was a lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church and retired from Whitesville Elementary School, where she served as a Health Room Assistant. She was devoted to her family, her faith, friends and the many students and coworkers whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Mudd.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Barry Bickett; her children, Zachary Bickett (Melissa), Benjamin Bickett (Lindsey), Max Bickett (Chelsea), and Amanda Hall (Landon); her grandchildren, Elliott, Easton, Ruby, Abram, Bentley, Braxton, and Harley, with another grandchild expected in June; her father, Ralph Mudd; her sister, Anne Marie Henderson (Harvey); her brother, Michael Mudd (Nicole); as well as several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. William Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with prayers beginning at 6:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
