Alexander Charles Conder

Alexander Charles Conder, a child of God, 11, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2005 at his home. He was a 5th grader at Whitesville elementary who celebrated life and had a passion for hunting, fishing and horseback riding and a great love for his family.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Vicki Conder, his four siblings, Savannah, Olivia, Paul and Joseph. His maternal relatives include grandparents Frank and Catherine Gawarecki of Leitchfield; Aunts and Uncles, Ed Gawarecki, Thomas and Sherry Gawarecki, Tony Gawarecki and Dan and Sarah Gawarecki; and many cousins. His paternal relatives include grandparents, Charles and Zula Conder of Owensboro; Aunts and Uncles, Larry and Rosemary Conder, Sabrina and Scott Johnson, Keith Conder and Julie and Aaron Sapp; and many cousins. His parish family at St. Pius X Catholic Church also survives him.

Alex filled our hearts with joy and laughter.

And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me. Mark 9:36-37

Services will be 2 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2005 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and from 10 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Prayers will be at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
