Albert W. Ray

Albert W " Bert" Ray, 74 of 3004 Waterside Way, Owensboro, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005. He was born in Akron, Ohio and was an accountant for Cochrane Furniture in Lincolnton, North Carolina, before his retirement in 1994. He was a member of First Christian Church, Owenwboro, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline H. Ray, of the home, a daughter, Karen and her husband Hugh Adams, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, a daughter, Terry and her husband Kent Parrish of Clinton Mississippi, a son, Alan Ray and his wife Carol, of Owensboro. Seven grandchildren, Megan and Adrienne Adams, Matthew and Andrew Parrish, and Katherine, Houston and Mary Ray also survive him.

Visitation and services will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 25. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 26. Memorial contributions should be made to First Christian Church, 700 J. R. Miller Blvd., Owensboro, KY 42303.
