Agustin B. Rivera

Agustin B. Rivera, 76, of Owensboro, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Son of the late Fulgencio and Irenia Butac Rivera, he was born in Ilocos Norte, Phillipines on January 28, 1931. He was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Saguday Hermoso Rivera; his children and their spouses, Precily and Albert Rania of Owensboro, Elvira and Edison Cadaoas of Sacramento, CA, Vicky and Keith Martin of San Leandro, CA, Ronnie and Jacqueline Rivera of Santa Clara, CA, Rey and Karen Rivera of Hampton, GA, Rick and Cathleen Rivera of Owensboro, and Shelly and Dan Vincent of Owensboro; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Greater Vision Baptist Church, 4733 Sutherland Road, on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Russ officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
