Agnes Pauline Baker Chapman

Agnes Pauline Chapman, 99, of Lapeer , MI (formerly of Owensboro) died Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Lapeer. Born May 18, 1905 in Daviess County, Mrs. Chapman was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensboro and as the second resident of the Roosevelt House where she helped form the Young at Hearts Club, AARP Chapter, and Hospitality Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dena Lowell Chapman in 1969 and two sons, Dena Lowell Chapman, Jr. and James Virgil Chapman.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia Chapman of Metamora, MI; four grandchildren, Heidi (and her husband Matthew) Genzman of Harper Woods, MI, Dean Chapman of Harper Woods, MI., Scott ( and his wife Katharine) Chapman of Sterling Heights, MI. and Lauren Rechenbach-Chapman of Metamora, MI; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Ann Genzman and Brendan Gary Genzman of Harper Woods, MI; a sister, Lorena Gough of Tampa, FL.; and a brother, Levi Baker of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday.
