Afreda Robertson Whobrey Cole

Alfreda Robertson Whobrey (Freda) Cole, 91 passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Hermitage Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born February 28, 1916, Mrs. Cole was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Martin Robertson; a member of First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class; and retired from S.W. Anderson. She was preceded in death by husbands, George Whobrey in 1970 and Clarence Cole in 2001, a step-daughter, Lois Ann White in 1977, and a step-great-grand child, Thomas Cole in 1990

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rev. Robert Noffsinger of Kennesaw, GA; step-sons, Charles M. ( and Hazel) Cole of Knoxville, TN and Kenneth L. (and Alice) Cole of Owensboro; grandchildren, Robert Todd ( and Jennifer) Noffsinger and Ryan Woodson ( and Lisa) Noffsinger; step-grandchildren, Sam (and Valerie) Cole and Camilla Lighton of Owensboro, and Tim (and Michelle) Cole of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; great-grandchildren; Luke Ryan Noffsinger and Avery Elizabeth Noffsinger; step-great-grandchildren; Nathan Gaston, Jordan Cole, and Megan Cole of Owensboro and Patrick Cole of Huntersville, NC; a brother, James Robertson of Apex, NC; and a sister, Jean Osborne of Owensboro.

Services are 2 P.M. on Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Noffsinger officiating followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. Friday and after 9 A.M. on Saturday.
