Adeline B. Mehlbauer

Adeline B. Mehlbauer, 91 of 2925 Strawbridge Place, Owensboro, Kentucky, died at Owensboro Mercy Health System on, Friday March 7, 2003. She was a Daviess County native, born to the late Henry and Bertha Clayton Bethel. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, loved to read, garden, and spend time with her family. Her husband, Clement M. Mehlbauer preceded her in death in February 1973.

She is survived by five sons, Larry Mehlbauer of Louisville, Kentucky, Anthony Mehlbauer, Daniel Mehlbauer, and Charles Mehlbauer of Owensboro, and Kenneth Mehlbauer of Batesville, Indiana; six daughters, Pat Hamilton, Liz Frey, Donna Mehlbauer, Rose Stepp and Teresa Taucher, all of Owensboro, and Sharon Fuller of Adairville, Kentucky; a brother, Frank Bethel of Evansville, Indiana; three sisters, Kathleen VanBibber, Ellen Merimee, and Margaret Dossett, all of Evansville, Indiana; 23 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday March 10, 2003 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, in Owensboro. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, following services. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday with prayers being said at 5:30 on Sunday at the funeral home
