Ada Justus Litsey, 92, of Port Orange Fl (formerly of Owensboro) died Friday, October 21, 2005 at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Born August 24, 1913, Mrs. Litsey was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Walden Justus. She was a homemaker; member of Dawson Baptist Church; and enjoyed raising canaries, quilting, crafts, and refinishing furniture. Mrs. Litsey was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Litsey in1984 and a daughter, Mary Lanham.
Surviving are daughters, Ada and her husband Carl Baker of Daytona Beach, Sylvia Chilton and her companion billy and Faye and her husband Carroll Adams of Port Orange; a son, Lawrence and his wife Dottie Hardy of
Clarksville, TN; a son-in-law, George Lanham, Jr. of Owensboro; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Services are 3 P.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Joe Thomas with burial in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until funeral time on Wednesday.
