Ada B. Hamilton

Ada B. Hamilton, 94, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord at Owensboro Center on July, 11, 2014. She was born in Daviess County on September, 17, 1919 to the late Fred and Rellie Head Winkler. Ada was a homemaker who was meticulous in her housekeeping. She was enjoyed bowling, gardening, and raising tomatoes. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. Hamilton; brother, Claude Winkler; and sister Ruth Haney

She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Joe) Church of Owensboro, Sharon (Glenn) Pearl of St. Louis, Robert (Margaret) of Philpot, and Glenn (Stacey) Hamilton of Owensboro; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alzheimer's Association of Greater Kentucky / Southern Indiana Chapter

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 pm on Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 9 on Tuesday. Prayers will be said at 7 pm on Monday. Burial will be 11 pm Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
