Aaron Carter Ford, 33, of Whitesville passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born July 31, 1975, Aaron worked for Century Aluminum; had worked for Premium Allied Tool and Dana Corp.; and was a Christian and member of Bethabara Baptist Church. He enjoyed shooting guns, riding motorcycles, parachuting, muscle cars; and especially, he enjoyed playing video games with his sons. In fact, Hunter said "he was the best video game player ever." He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Helen Ford and Aaron and Helen Sumner and his father-in-law, Joseph Raymond Hagan.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Kathy Hagan Ford; children, Hunter and Carter Ford and T.J. Payne; his parents, William and Carolyn Sumner Ford of Philpot; a sister, Jennifer (Todd) Fencak of Austin, TX; mother-in-law, Emily Hagan of Whitesville; aunt and uncle, Betsy and Jerry Sumner of Owensboro; cousins, Patty and Andy Wells , Nick Wells, Kristin Palazzi all of Owensboro and Sheri (Brian) Williams, Marc Williams, and Lee Williams all of Oklahoma and Beth Helton, Jill Wall of Owensboro; brothers-in-law, Joe (Wendy) Hagan, Chuck (Anne) Hagan, Dwayne (Laura) Hagan of Whitesville and John (Alisa) Hagan of Owensboro; and sisters-in-law, Terri Hagan of Owensboro and Janet (Mark) Perez of Whitesville; and "his brother by another Mother", Leon Rates of Hawesville.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. Hershel Morgan officiating followed by burial in Bethabara Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
