A. E. Gerteisen

A. E. Tony Gerteisen, 64, of 7048 Highway 2830, Maceo, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2005, at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Louis & Martha Girvin Gerteisen, Jr. He was the owner & operator of Gordons Custom Framing and a co-owner & manager of Val-U Liquors and Iron Horse Liquors. He enjoyed playing the stock market, baseball, and going to his farm. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lindy, James, and Charles Jacob Gerteisen.

Surviving are two sisters, Mary Jo Rusher and Suellen McKay, both of Maceo, and two brothers, Donald A. Gerteisen of Tallahassee, Fl. and Jack H. Gerteisen of Anchorage, Ak., two nieces & 10 nephews, 14 great nieces & nephews, and one great great niece.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 12, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday with prayers that evening and after 8:30 A.M Friday at the funeral home.
